Young Adults
St. Bede’s is home to a vibrant mix of 20-somethings and 30-somethings. They serve on our vestry, teach Sunday School, help provide Nursery Care and are among our parish’s accomplished cadre of amateur chefs.
One Thursday evening a month, from 7:30 – 9:30 pm, a group of about 15 young adults gather in St. Bede’s Great Hall for dinner, and to discuss the big questions of Christianity, spirituality and religion. We call these gatherings Seekers Dinners and we invite anyone of any age to join us.
Recent discussion topics have included:
“What’s the use of organized religion?”
“What exactly are miracles? And do we believe in them?”
“Do you have to believe certain super-natural claims to call yourself a Christian?”
“What do we think about raising children in a community of faith–good? bad? ugly?”
